Description, duties, responsibilities
Established maintenance facility is looking for a Self-Motivated, Hardworking Mechanic. Qualified candidates must have minimum 1 years experience with Beechcraft, Cessna, and Piper aircraft on annual inspections, repairs, and modifications. Must be willing to learn standard procedures and must be able to follow directions. We are also hiring an apprentice mechanic who is either working towards their license or recently graduated.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to Detail : Being able to pay attention to details of repairs and modifications will be necessary.
- Mechanical Skills : Mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of small aircraft, as well as the tools to fix them.
- Basic Tools Required
- Technical Skills : Mechanics will need to be familiar with electronics, be able to interpret schematics, or use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs.
- Physical Requirements : Good physical and flexibility skills are helpful when dealing with small and accessibly challenging spaces. Ability to work in various weather conditions a must.
- Troubleshooting Skills : Mechanics need to be able to inspect various areas of the aircraft, identify problems, and be able to communicate clearly about possible solutions.
Pay is negotiable depending on experience. We are a drug free workplace.
